Steve's SCCA T1 C5 Z06 Corvette
Steve competes in SCCA club racing events with his Z06 Corvette. Recently the T1 class (Touring 1) permitted C5 Corvettes full length headers, which we installed.
Kushan,
"Maybe you can put a pic of my car on your site. Enclosed is a picture with trophy taken after I swept the Regional and National races (two separate races) at Cal Speed on the Jan. 23-24 weekend. The other was taken on track that weekend."
-Steve
Mike's Stage 4 2008 Z06 Corvette
Mike's 2008 Z06 received a stage 4 performance package consisting of our CNC ported LS7 heads, custom ground camshaft, our very own roller rocker needle bearing upgrade, ARP head studs, MLS gaskets, ported intake manifold, American Racing long tube headers, high flow cats, X pipe, K&N cold air system, ported throttle body, cooler thermostat, Taylor spark plug wires, NGK spark plugs, baseline dyno and custom dyno tune. Mike decided to further upgrade the vehicle with us, adding coilovers and a four corner balance.
"My car is lights out fast and handles awesome... I am very happy with Kushan's work; he is the only guy that I will let work on my car."
Gary's Stage 3 2007 Z06 Corvette
Gary's 2007 Z06 came in for a stage 3 performance upgrade with the drysump upgrade for track driving. While the vehicle was in the shop, Gary also took advantage of our four corner balance and alignment. Watch out for this vette on the track!
Micah's 2005 Cadillac CTS-V
This Cadillac CTS-V was brought to us for what is basically our stage 4 upgrade without heads as the CTSV comes with an LS6. The client added performance brakes at all four corners and a lightened flywheel. We're happy to say that this 4 door CTS-V will walk away from a C5 Z06 Corvette with headers!
2010 Camaro Stage 3 Performance Upgrade
This 2010 Camaro came in because the owner wasn't happy with the lack of power from the stock LS3. We tossed in our LS3 Stage 3 performance kit; K&N Cold Air Kit, Hand Ported Intake Manifold, Taylor Wires, NGK Plugs, Ported Throttle Body, Cooler Thermostat, American Racing Long tube Headers, High Flow Catalytic Converters, X Pipe, Baseline Dyno & Custom Tune. As you might imagine, this Camaro is running much more efficiently and producing close to 60 horsepower more than stock!
Jim's Factory Five GTM Supercar
Jim brought us his GTM Supercar for a custom performance tune. The GTM is a super light (2350lbs) kit available from Factory Five Racing. Don't think for a second that these kits are like others on the market. The GTM's only engine options are from Corvettes. This particular model has an LS6, though we have seen them with engines as large as a 427cid LS7! Coupled with a full tube chassis and coilovers, this vehicle will pull 1.05G, run 11's all day long and stop faster than a Ford GT.
Mike's Supercharged 418cid LS2
Mike brought us his C5 corvette because he didn't feel it was fast enough in stock trim. A supercharger certainly solved that problem. This Corvette laid down a "moderate" 590 rear wheel horsepower and looks great doing it!
Nick's 2009 ZR1 Corvette
This monstrous Corvette was brought to us with handling in mind. We installed a carbon fiber front splitter and removed the fog lights to allow for custom brake ducting while still maintaining a factory look.
Pratt & Miller C6 RS
This Pratt & Miller C6 RS came to us looking for some transmission work and a custom dyno tune. The Pratt & Miller C6 RS is a purpose built carbon fiber race version of the C6 Corvette. The full floating 6 and 4 piston brakes really get a workout via a custom 8.2 liter Katech engine pushing out 600hp/600ft-lbs.
Bruce's 2007 Z06 Corvette
Here's Bruce's Z06 Corvette receiving some track modifications. One of which was the addition of a differential cooler as racetrack use can destroy improperly setup rear ends. By installing a differential cooler Bruce's C6 Z06 wont see any heat related failures on the track.
C6 Z06 Pfadt Coilover Conversion
This C6 Corvette came to us all the way from Texas. The owner wanted better handling for the street. We suggested a Pfadt coilover conversion, which is a solid performance coil over adjustable suspension package.
Gary's 2007 Z06 Corvette
Gary wanted to push his car a little harder than most. He asked for the stage 2 performance upgrade which consists of a Cold Air System, 180 Thermostat, American Racing Headers and our exclusive EFI Live Custom Tune. Peak power levels in mid range were as high as 47 rear wheel HP and 41 Lb/ft of torque. Needless to say, he is very happy with his new ride. He was nice enough to send us this email about his corvette;
Kushan,
It runs ................................GREAT. The performance has definitely increased. As an added perk, so has my mileage. I use to average 21.9 MPG driving to Fontana today with speeds of up to 90 mph, I averaged 24.4 MPG
Russel's 2005 C6 Corvette
Russell came to us to take advantage of our stage 1 performance package, complete with custom tune with a cold air system. He was also concerned about the differential weakness in the '05 C6's so we added a differential brace to eliminate the problem.
Derryl's 2006 Z06 Corvette
Derryl found us through the Corvette Forum. His interest was to get some more power without any major modifications. He heard about our Efi Live Tuning Software and the success we have had with it. As you know, the new E38 computer in these new C6 Corvettes are much more complicated but far more advanced than previous models. Efi Live has taken much longer to develop this unique software but it's far more advanced than other products on the market.
As an an exclusive Efi Live tuning facility, we want to give our customers the best they can get for the expensive cars they have purchased. We believe that there is no software that can meet this challenge like the Efi Live tuning Software.
Derryl took advantage of our stage 1 performance package which includes a K&N Cold Air System/180 deg thermostat and Dyno tuning
Rich's 427cid C5 Z06
Road racing is one of the harshest environments for any race car. The power train and drive train go through extreme punishment so a properly built engine with the right pieces would with stand that environment. We built a new 427 cid LS2 engine with all the right pieces to handle such a task. Nothing was spared in this project including all forged and billet components and a drysump system.
Kushan's 1963 Split Window Corvette Drag Car
With the demands of Kushan's business he has little time to spend on his dream of mixing old technology with new technology. His plans for his '63 Split Window Corvette is to incorporate a LS7 EFI engine on a 3 stage pneumatic nitrous system. In the meantime he is running his car with a 468cid big block Chevy running on methanol.
Thomas's C6 Z06 Conversion
Thomas had some unresolved issues with the performance enhancements that he had done at a competitors speed shop. The performance and workmanship did not meet his expectations. We were able to meet and exceed that level, and in the end gained his trust. His car is now running as he expected and there are no remaining issues. One of the major improvements was the EFI Live Custom Operating Systems two bar MAF less speed density tune which netted him an additional 30 hp at 3,200 and up to 60 hp at 6,500 rpm. Previous tune was done with a HP Tuner. This is why we use EFI Live Software.
