If you're taking your vehicle to the strip, track, road course - proper suspension is very important when it comes to putting power to the ground. Corvette suspensions are designed as a middle ground between street and performance use. From the factory, the bushings, springs and shocks are very soft and are not engineered for race-day use. This leads to poor handling characteristics in extreme racing applications and premature failure in aggressive track use. Power is important when going fast, but the most important component of a race car is the suspension. Without a properly setup suspension, the car wont handle the way you want it to. By replacing the factory bushings with polyurethane bushings or mono-ball control arms the suspension will stay stable under extreme use. Properly setup coil overs and adding aerodynamic downforce to the car is a great reciepe for a well balanced car that will be extremely fast on the track.

DSC Sport offers a DSC Sport V2 controller for the MagneRide shocks as well as two additional shock packages: RT (Road & Track) and RTx (Road & Track Xtreme). The V2 controller, intended for use with the original MagneRide shocks, replaces the factory suspension control module. The RT and RTx packages introduce two upgraded damper options. DSC Sport V2 fully and completely interfaces with the factory dash displays and controls. Using the DSC Sport tuning software, user have the ability to tune the suspension just like tuning the engine, including full velocity tuning. Regardless of package choice, DSC Sport V2 dramatically expands the dynamic range, resulting in a truly active suspension. This allows for a much more compliant ride and race track performance.
Replacing the factory shock controller, the DSC Sport V2 is a state-of-the-art user e suspension controller featuring velocity calculations as well as brake pressure, G-force, acceleration, speed (MPH) and full individual shock calibration tables. Digitally tune the chassis just as you would the engine. Tune more grip into the tire, while tuning a more compliant ride for street. The DSC Sport V2 controller is equally at home as a daily driver or full time track setup.
The RT package introduces the tractive DDA damper. The patented DDA valve offers the fastest, most dynamic and most consistent damping range of any electronic damper on the market. Responding to commands from the DSC controller in only six milliseconds, the tractive DDA allows for a more sophisticated tuning file, relying less heavily on predictive control strategies. The mechanical build also sets the tractive DDA apart from all other class competitors. Offering the finest guide seal, piston and shim stack on the market, the DDA damper withstands heavy load changes with no signs of hysteresis or stiction. The results is the worlds most versatile suspension system that provides a previously unheard of combination of race winning performance on the track and daily driver comfort on the street.
The RTx package offers all the benefits of the RT package with the additional advantages of the remote canister featuring a remote divider piston and high/low speed compression adjustment. The RTx package is designed for hardcore competition racers and is absolutely vital for endurance racing. The additional housing volume for nitrogen and oil provides greater heat dissipation, allowing for consistent damping over longer periods of use.
Penske coilover suspensions improve handling characteristics and offer high speed / low speed compression and rebound adjustability. Coupled with aero kits, polyurethane bushings or mono-ball control arms in extreme track applications, we can make just about anything handle like a go-kart.
